World respected ranking magazine, Forbes has named top ten richest musicians in Africa.

The current list of top 10 Richest musicians in Africa this 2018 and net worth according to Forbes has been released.

The current Forbes Africa top 10 artistes span from various countries like Nigeria, Ghana, Tanzania and other countries whose music industries are booming today.

The list sees the absence of Nigerian duo singers “P-square” who had an estimated worth of $100 million together as at last year but since their separation has seen them leave the top 10 and also South-African trumpeter and singer “Hugh Masekela” who passed away early this year.

Naseeb Abdul Juma, popularly known by his stage name Diamond Platnumz, is a recording artist and dancer from Tanzania. Diamond is considered influential among his fans, and is said to be the most loved and decorated East and Central African artist at the moment.

He is believed to be the current highest selling Tanzanian artist. He’s ranked tenth on Forbes Africa with 4.5 million USD.

She is the 9th on Forbes list on richest African musicians with 6milllion U.S dollars worth.

Michael Owusu Addo started out as an underground rapper and through the help of Duncan Williams, his former manager, his career was launched.
